About PD Bites

PD Bites (“we”, “us”) provides online professional development (“PD”/”CPD”) modules and related training services to individuals and organisations in Australia. By purchasing or using our modules, you agree to these terms.

Nature of our certificates

Unless a module explicitly states otherwise, PD Bites certificates are non-accredited Certificates of Completion recording the topic, date and CPD/PD hours completed. They are not nationally recognised VET qualifications or Statements of Attainment. Where a module states its content is aligned to a specific standard or framework, that statement applies only to content design. It does not itself constitute formal accreditation. PD Bites is not currently a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Purchases and access

When you purchase a module, you receive a personal licence to access that module’s content and attempt its assessment for your own professional development. Content may not be copied, resold, or redistributed without our written permission. Team/bulk purchases are subject to the number of seats agreed at the time of purchase.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill and will be fit for the purpose disclosed. If a module or service does not meet an ACL guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of anything else in these terms.

Refunds

See our Refund Policy for how refund requests are handled.

Accuracy of content

We take care to keep module content accurate and current for an Australian context, and update modules when legislation, standards or guidance change. However, our modules are general professional development and are not a substitute for your organisation’s own policies, your regulator’s current guidance, or independent legal/compliance advice specific to your situation.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your non-excludable rights under the ACL, PD Bites is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our modules or website. [A solicitor should tailor this clause and any liability cap to your specific business structure and insurance.]

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your state/territory], Australia.
