Small learning. Big impact.
Practical, plain-English professional development for Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health and Community Services support workers and volunteers, and the VET trainers and assessors who train them. Each module is built to be finished in a lunch break, not a whole weekend.
We tune the learning to give you the tools to actually understand the concept, so you can use it on your next shift, rather than just ticking a box.
Practical CPD for the people doing the work, and the people training them. Read our story →
What you get with every module
Usually 45–120 minutes, built around real workplace scenarios.
A quiz to confirm understanding before you finish.
Records the topic, date and CPD hours for your own portfolio.
Built for the people who do the work, and the people who train them
PD Bites has two tracks under one roof, so a workplace can cover frontline staff and their trainers/assessors from a single provider.
Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health & Community Services workers
Short, practical CPD on the topics that come up on shift, for paid staff and volunteers alike: recognising abuse and neglect, cultural safety, professional boundaries, understanding funding pathways, and more.
Trainers, Assessors & RTO staff
PD that speaks the language of the Standards for RTOs: assessment system design, validation and moderation, and keeping pace with sector reforms.
Real modules, built to be used, not just ticked off
Every module is written from real Australian legislation, standards and workplace scenarios, and checked for accuracy before it ever goes live. We’d rather stand behind a handful of genuinely useful modules than pad out a catalogue with filler. That’s the commitment behind everything here.
Recognising and Responding to Elder Abuse Indicators
Warning signs, at-risk groups and reporting pathways for Aged Care and Community Services staff.
Cultural Safety and Working with Diverse Clients
Moving from cultural awareness to cultural safety, working with interpreters, and practical communication strategies.
Designing Fit-for-Purpose Assessment Systems
Principles and rules of evidence, pre-validation, and common non-compliance findings for RTO assessment tools.
Straight answers about our certificates
We’d rather you know exactly what you’re getting than assume.
CPD certificates
Most modules issue a non-accredited Certificate of Completion recording the topic, date and CPD hours, useful evidence for your own professional development record or renewal requirements. These are not nationally recognised qualifications.
Standards-aligned content
Where a module’s content is built around a specific framework (for example the Aged Care Quality Standards or the Standards for RTOs), we say so clearly on that module’s page. We don’t apply this label loosely.
Customised for your workplace
If your organisation needs content mapped to a specific unit of competency, policy, or internal process, we can tailor a module for you. Tell us what you need →
How it works

3. Download your certificate
Keep it for your own CPD records, professional registration, or workplace file.
